GSA Agreement w/ Social Networking Platforms Sets Useful Precedent
We’re looking forward to setting new precedents for appropriate and effective use of technology and social media at the State level over the coming year… but it’s even better (= less work) when we don’t have to. Now, for a range of social networking platforms we’re already starting to us, we don’t have to, thanks to the Federal GSA. They have negotiated Terms of Service agreements for Agencies that comply with Federal requirements. While we’re not party to these agreements as a State Legislative body, the precedent and terms are extremely helpful to our efforts. Thank you GSA!
